Greek Bioeconomy Forum Event

The Greek Bioeconomy Forum will hold its first event on the bioeconomy in Greece in Thessaloniki on May 10 and 11. The event will bring together key stakeholders from the bioeconomy sector to discuss the development of the bio-based industry in the country, funding opportunities, as well as Greek and European policies related to bio- and circular economy.

At this occasion, Nikolaos Ntavos, Manager of the Cluster of Bioenergy and Environment of Western Macedonia (CluBE) will present the RUBIZMO project, together with an overview of its first results. This will include an outline of the innovative rural business cases identified within the project, featuring in particular the initiatives related to the development of new bio-based value chains.

The event will also be the opportunity for participants to join:
•    An exhibition of bio-based products and technologies
•    A special Info Session on the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking 2019 Call for Proposals
•     A networking session with universities, enterprises and governmental agencies

At the end of the event, RUBIZMO partners will gather with selected representatives from the sector (members of the project’s national panels of experts) to discuss on project results and planned activities.
