European Regions for Smart Communties
The European Regions for Smart Communities summit, under the Portuguese Presidency of European Union, will be held in Évora (Alentejo, Portugal) and online, between 3 and 9 of May, 2021.
The Summit will host: Mayors, Regional Presidents as well as other elected politicians from across Europe who will show best practices on how to involve citizens more effectively, with the support of local and regional authorities. It will be followed by technical and thematic sessions, projects meeting and networking, artistic performances, social/cultural time, visits in the Alentejo Region and at the end of the week by celebrating the Day of Europe. The Summit is organised by the H2020-AURORAL project led by CCDR Alentejo, with the support from Alentejo Europe Initiative, Open & Agile Smart Cities (OASC), ADRAL - Regional Development Agency of Alentejo and IrRADIARE Science for Evolution.
